Weekend at The Woods Hole Inn


Weekend Itinerary for March 1-3rd, 2019 listed below:
Friday
3-7pm Check – in at the Woods Hole Inn
5:30pm – Meet and greet with Norah over wine and cheese at the Woods Hole Inn, check out the great examples of Norah’s work with a “try-on trunk show” and grab one of Norah’s latest books along with her personalized signature. (No cover fee for attendees, open to the public)
Dinner – Dinner is on your own for the evening.  Try any one of the restaurants open within walking distance or a short drive up in Falmouth.

Saturday
8-9am – Our famous Woods Hole Inn breakfast in our water view breakfast room (included in package price)
9:30am – Knitting with Norah, Twisted Stitches.  Norah will show you why she loves twisted stitches while she teaches you her favorite method for knitting right twists and left twists. Students will explore the difference, then make super easy mini cables, followed by a deeper dive into just how much you can do with the diagonal lines made by twisted stitches. Combination knitters are more than welcome. Norah knows how to make twisted stitches easy for you too!
Materials – Light colored DK or worsted weight wool and the needles that go with it.
Lunch – a pre-fixe lunch at the Quicks Hole Tavern (included in package price)
1:30pm – Open knitting
Dinner – Dinner is on your own for the evening.  Try any one of the restaurants open within walking distance or a short drive up in Falmouth.

Sunday
8-9am – Our famous Woods Hole Inn breakfast in our water view breakfast room (included in package price)
9:30am – Knitting with Norah, Learn how to knit 2 different types of 2 sided cables. The first looks great on both sides because it is built of ribbing and the second has a different cable on each side. Knitting from a chart is a necessity in this class but you can learn as you go.
Materials – Light colored DK or worsted weight wool and the needles that go with it & a cable needle.
Lunch – a pre-fixe lunch at the Quicks Hole Tavern (included in package price)

Check out on Sunday is before Norah’s knitting session, but parking is included in lodging package pricing until 3pm Sunday afternoon.
